The CHiQ V8S is a 4K UHD laser ultra short throw projector designed for big-screen home cinema, sport, gaming and everyday entertainment. With 2500 ANSI lumens brightness, a 0.21:1 ultra short throw ratio, HDR10 support, MEMC motion processing, 8-point keystone correction and a long-life laser light source, it delivers a large 4K image from a very short distance.
A bright 4K UST projector for flexible home cinema
V8S is designed to create a large image without placing a projector at the back of the room. Its ultra short throw optical design allows the projector to sit close to the wall or screen, helping keep the installation tidy and reducing the need for long cable runs.
With 4K UHD resolution, HDR10, HLG, MEMC and a claimed 130% BT.709 colour gamut, V8S is suitable for movies, TV, sport and console gaming. The built-in Android system, wireless connectivity and media playback support also make it practical for daily entertainment use.

3840 × 2160 UHD resolution helps reveal fine picture detail on large screen sizes, making it suitable for films, sport and high-quality video content.
Laser brightness
The 2500 ANSI lumen laser light source is designed for bright and vivid home cinema viewing, especially when paired with a suitable UST ALR screen.
Ultra short throw setup
The 0.21:1 throw ratio allows a 100" image from around 19.5cm, giving customers a practical big-screen setup without rear-room projection.
MEMC motion processing
MEMC frame interpolation helps improve motion smoothness for sport, games and fast-moving video content.
HDR10 and HLG support
HDR compatibility helps improve perceived contrast and image depth, making bright and dark scenes easier to enjoy.
8-point keystone correction
Fine keystone adjustment helps correct image shape when the projector is not perfectly aligned with the screen.
Clean design with useful connection options
The V8S uses a compact UST projector body with a clean black and gold finish. Rear connectivity includes HDMI, USB, VGA, RJ45, audio input and digital audio output options, making it suitable for media players, streaming devices, consoles and AV systems.
Large screen size from a short distance
V8S can project an image from approximately 80" to 150", with 120" commonly recommended for home cinema use. For the best image quality in brighter rooms, we recommend pairing UST laser projectors with a suitable UST ALR screen.
