Floor-rising ALR screen with acoustic transparency
The Vividstorm S ALR P is a motorised, tab-tensioned floor-rising projector screen designed for standard and long throw projectors. Its perforated acoustically transparent Obsidian ALR surface allows speakers or a soundbar to be positioned behind the screen, helping picture and sound come from the same direction.
This screen is designed for standard / long throw projector setups. It is not the correct ALR material for ultra short throw projectors positioned directly below the screen.

The screen rises from its floor case when needed, then retracts neatly when the room returns to everyday use.

A clean cinema screen that appears only when needed
The S ALR P series is ideal for living rooms, media rooms and multi-purpose spaces where a permanent fixed-frame screen may not be suitable. Place the screen on the floor, behind furniture or close to the wall, then raise it for movie nights, sports and gaming.
The floor-rising design avoids the need for a ceiling cassette and gives you a large premium projection surface without permanently dominating the room.
Place the sound where the picture is
A perforated acoustically transparent screen allows a soundbar or speaker system to be installed behind the projection surface. This helps the sound feel like it is coming directly from the image rather than from a separate location in the room.
It also helps keep the front of the room tidier, with speakers hidden behind the screen for a cleaner home cinema layout.
ALR performance for standard and long throw projection
The Obsidian ALR surface is designed for projector setups where the projector is positioned in front of the viewing area, not directly below the screen. It helps maintain better contrast and image depth than a basic white screen in rooms with controlled ambient light.

Projector-screen synchronisation
The S Electric ALR P series includes a wireless projector trigger as a free gift. When compatible, the trigger can be inserted into the projector’s USB port so the screen rises when the projector powers on and retracts when the projector powers off.
Wireless trigger compatibility is not guaranteed for every projector. The wireless trigger is supplied as a free gift and is not covered by the screen manufacturer warranty.

Wireless projector trigger compatibility is not guaranteed for all projectors and the trigger is supplied as a free gift.
