Motorised Obsidian ALR pull-down screen for standard and long throw projectors
The Vividstorm ALR Slimline is a motorised, tab-tensioned ambient light rejecting screen designed for standard and long throw projectors. Its Obsidian ALR material helps improve contrast and image depth in rooms where lighting is controlled but not completely dark.

Designed to improve perceived contrast and reduce the effect of ambient light compared with a standard white screen.

Made for standard and long throw projectors, with recommended projector brightness above 2000 ANSI lumens.

The ALR Slimline series is ideal when you use a ceiling-mounted or rear-positioned standard/long throw projector and want better contrast than a standard white screen can usually provide in a living room or media room.

ALR Slimline combines Obsidian ALR screen material, tab-tensioned structure and a motorised casing to support high-quality standard and long throw projector installations.
Choose this screen only for standard and long throw projectors
ALR Slimline is made for standard and long throw projectors, where the projector is positioned away from the screen. It should not be paired with ultra short throw projectors, because UST projectors require a different ALR optical structure.
- Suitable for ceiling-mounted or rear-positioned standard/long throw projectors.
- Recommended for projectors with rated brightness above 2000 ANSI lumens.
- Works best in low-light or controlled-light rooms.
- Not compatible with UST / ultra short throw projectors.
Screen size and casing dimensions
Please check the manufacturer size chart carefully before ordering, especially if the screen will be installed between walls, near a ceiling, above furniture, or in a restricted mounting position.
