The CZUR Scanner Assistive Cover is designed to make book scanning cleaner and more consistent with CZUR overhead scanners. It covers the front and back covers of a book so that cover colours, edges and surrounding desk objects are less likely to interfere with image exposure, cropping and processing algorithms.
A simple accessory for better book scanning results
When scanning a bound book, the front and back covers can sometimes appear in the preview area and affect the scanner software’s exposure, edge detection or image processing. The CZUR Assistive Cover is placed over the book covers, leaving the inner pages visible for capture.
This helps create a cleaner scanning area and makes it easier for the software to focus on the pages you want to digitise. It is especially useful for books with colourful covers, reflective covers, dark edges or busy desk backgrounds.

Position the book covers under the assistive cover
Place the assistive cover on top of the black document mat. The book’s front and back covers should sit underneath the assistive cover, while the open inner pages remain visible above it for scanning. Adjust the hook-and-loop strip to match the book spine thickness and keep the book spine centred in the gap.

Designed for CZUR scanners, excluding M Series
The assistive cover is designed for use with CZUR scanners where an external cover accessory is needed. It is not required for the M Series, as M Series scanners include an integrated book cover system.
Please check your scanner model and book size before ordering. The assistive cover is intended for A4 and smaller books.
