Recessed in-ceiling cinema screen for a clean, built-in theatre finish.
The Vividstorm PHANTOM White Cinema screen is designed for dedicated home cinema rooms where the screen should disappear into the ceiling when not in use. Its 1.1 gain White Cinema surface, wide 160° viewing angle and tab-tensioned motorised design make it ideal for normal, standard and long-throw projector installations in controlled lighting.
Manufacturer-direct / custom-order installation product
PHANTOM recessed in-ceiling screens are made for planned installations and should be checked carefully before ordering. Please confirm ceiling cavity space, screen size, casing colour, projector type and throw position before purchase. Once a customised screen is made, returns for change-of-mind are normally not accepted; replacement or refund support applies where a confirmed product defect is present.
For normal, standard and long-throw projector setups.
This White Cinema version is best matched with conventional projector layouts where the projector is positioned away from the screen. It is not an ALR/CLR surface, so it is most effective in a dedicated dark room or well-controlled lighting environment.
- Recommended for projectors above 1800 ANSI lumens in dark-room use
- White Cinema material for a natural, theatre-style image
- Suitable for normal / standard / long-throw projector installations
- For UST laser TV ambient-light setups, choose a dedicated UST ALR/CLR model instead
Completely concealed when the screen is retracted.
The PHANTOM chassis is recessed into the ceiling, leaving the room with a clean architectural finish. When lowered, the tab-tensioning system helps the projection surface stay flat, reducing ripples and helping preserve geometry across the image.
- Recessed in-ceiling installation only
- Motorised roll-down operation
- Tab-tensioned surface for a flatter viewing area
- Designed for new-build, renovation and premium cinema-room projects
Built for a premium, clutter-free cinema room
The screen housing sits within the ceiling structure, helping the screen blend into the room when not in use.
White Cinema image character
The 1.1 gain surface is designed to deliver a bright, balanced cinema image in controlled lighting, making it a strong choice for dedicated theatre spaces.
Wide seating flexibility
A 160° viewing angle helps keep the picture usable from side seating positions, supporting family rooms and wider cinema seating plans.
Flat projection surface
The tab-tensioned design keeps the viewing surface under tension, helping maintain a smooth screen plane for 4K/8K content.
Multiple control methods
The PHANTOM screen is supplied with remote-control accessories and trigger support for convenient integration with a projector-led cinema setup.
Size and dimension chart
Please confirm ceiling cavity, finished opening and projector throw distance before ordering.

A clean architectural screen solution for serious home cinema rooms.
Choose the PHANTOM White Cinema version when you want a discreet recessed screen for a controlled-light cinema room with a normal, standard or long-throw projector. If your project uses an ultra-short-throw laser TV or needs ambient-light rejection, ask D&H Innovation to help select the correct Vividstorm UST ALR or Obsidian ALR model instead.
